History

DELTA Nooter is a subsidiary of Nooter Construction Company. Acquired in 2003, DELTA Nooter has a history of performance spanning three decades.

Founded as DELTA Maintenance in the 1980’s in Chalmatte, Louisiana (near New Orleans), DELTA was soon purchased by Serv-Tech, Inc. of Houston, Texas, and operated as a subsidiary of the Serv-Tech family of companies.

During that time, Serv-Tech designed and patented proprietary technology, building a fleet of exchanger extraction and cleaning equipment. The Fast Draw® and Fast Clean® fleet and procedures were used for completing refinery turnarounds and heat exchanger specialty maintenance and cleaning services.

 

1980’s – Founded as DELTA Maintenance, Inc. before becoming a subsidiary of Serv-Tech, Inc., Houston, Texas.

1986 – U.S. Patent issued to Bon Ton Rolle Limited, Houston, Texas for Truck Mounted Tube Bundle Pulling Apparatus.

1987 – U.S. Patent issued to Bon Ton Rolle Limited, Houston, Texas for Tube Bundle Pulling Apparatus.

1989 – U.S. Patent issued to Serv-Tech, Inc., Houston, Texas for Mobile Articulable Tube Bundle Cleaner for high psi pressure, waterjet cleaning of heat exchanger tube bundles.

1995 – U.S. Patent issued to Serv-Tech, Inc., Houston, Texas for Street Legal, Mobile, Truck Mounted Tube Bundle Pulling Apparatus.

1997 – DELTA Maintenance is acquired from Serv-Tech by Philip Services Corp., (PSC), Houston, Texas.

2003 – DELTA Maintenance is acquired from PSC by Nooter Construction Company.  The Serv-Tech equipment and patented technology are retained by DELTA.

2003 – The company is renamed as DELTA Nooter, Inc., incorporated in the state of Missouri and headquartered in St. Louis.

2014 – Transition of new DELTA Nooter corporate leadership completed.
